CAPITOL HILL ARTWALK: THURSDAY, MARCH 13, 5-9PM
Show runs through 3/29/25

HUBNER'S multi-medium show, STATE OF EMERGENCY,  focuses on relationships we encounter in our daily lives in hopes we can stop attacking what we are unfamiliar with. This exhibit prominently features a tent installation made of paintings of previous work. The tent symbolizes something unattainable; the combined value of multiple paintings is valued at $30,000 which reflects the artist's experience of homelessness and the tensions of societal treatment towards these individuals.

The exhibition will feature a dynamic blend of new works alongside selections from the Drag Queen Series, culminating in a celebration of the artist's diverse body of work. A notable portrait, inspired by Jenny Saville, signifies a pivotal milestone in the artist's journey. Overall, this show emphasizes the interconnectedness of the artist's various series, inviting viewers to explore the threads that link each piece together.
