From the Bestiary and Fabulary of Arturo Artorez
This month, Arturo Artorez, now eighty-five years wise, celebrates a lifetime of vision and mystical insight. His talent, timeless and unbound by age, is a gift passed down from forgotten ancestors. With every stroke, he shares a realm where the seen and unseen intertwine, capturing what others cannot see.

Remarkably, Arturo has never needed the tools of a formal artist. Ballpoint pen and marker are his instruments, yet they conjure visions so vivid they seem to breathe on the page. The impeccable detail of each stroke is something that must be seen in person to be believed, as his creations are not mere drawings—they are windows into another world, where time and reality blur and creatures of the mind take form.

This is a rare opportunity to collect his original art before Arturo potentially embarks on a life move back to Mexico, where he contemplates a new chapter of reflection and creation and where his next work will surely carry the legacy of this moment into the unknown.

This work will also be available in our online store here

Also, we collaborated with Steve Gilbert who curated four artists from a trip to Mexico and who he recently showed at his studio on Capitol Hill in March. We'll be showing the work of Iván Gabaldón (Caracas, b.1966), Michel Maugée (b.1953), Manolo Taure (b.1973) works on toilet paper "Toilet Paper Story", and Viviana Hinojosa.
