A Surrealist Birthday Party

Saturday, February 28, at Vermillion, I’m throwing a little party on the occasion of turning impossibly old. Well, I don’t feel old, but the clock doesn’t lie. Or does it? I’m thinking of a surrealist theme, so maybe the clock does lie, you never know.

At any rate, I hope you’ll stop by to do some dancing to the delightful DJDavid Rauschenberg spinning weird and wonderful tunes, have a drink or two, and commiserate with me on the onset of my dotage. There might even be some special antics. It’s all evolving at this point.

What: Janet’s 50th birthday – a surrealist evening at Vermillion
Where: Vermillion Art Gallery and Bar, 1508 11th Ave, Seattle (the venue will be open to the public, but we’ll have the run of the place)
When: Saturday February 28, 8:00pm till close
Attire: Come as you are, especially if you are wearing a lobster on your head (i.e. feel free to dress up or not)

No gifts, just your wonderful selves.
