Tim Mendonsa is the lead vocalist of acclaimed local art-rock band Dark Hip Falls and guitarist and bassist for Mary Lambert, Maiah Manser, andMariko Ruhle. Nick Nihil is a guitarist for Dark Hip Falls and has recorded with Seattle modern jazz extraordinaires Bad Lack (Neil Welch/Chris Icasiano).
This will be their debut set as a duo performing both composed and improvised pieces inspired by the likes of Claude Debussy, Steve Reich, Brian Eno, and Bill Frisell, creating a moving balance between the tense and lovely, minimalist and expressively lush.
