Kevin Kauer (aka Nark) has been documenting and showcasing the underground Seattle nightlife scene of club kids, punk shows, leather men, sex dungeons, drag creatures and more through Nark Magazine (http://narkmagazine.com/), which he founded ten years ago.

Nark digs deep into the archives of this past decade to reveal intimate scenes from over the years not before seen including unfinished projects, outtakes and defining moments in the Seattle scene along with club inspired installations and selected photography work from Roman Robinson.

This exhibit also tackles Nark’s frustrations with modern photography and portraiture with a critical commentary on today’s beauty standards in a photo series that is a departure from the images of able-bodied masculinity or enviable beauty that we absorb everyday.
