Art Opening – Keely Dolan: Dreaming Forest Thursday, March 13, 6-9pm
Strange beasts form a menagerie in the dreamworld of Keely Dolan. Working with the carved mediums of scratchboard and watercolor, she renders light carved into form, communicating the ideas of humans into her world of allegorical animals.

About Keely Dolan:
Keely Dolan is an artist currently living in the Seattle area. She specializes in the mediums of
scratchboard and watercolor. She holds a BFA in Illustration from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, and an MFA in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
Keely draws her inspiration off of her interest in Jungian symbolism, subconscious thought, and dreams. She is influenced by other atmospheric symbolism-heavy artists, such as William Blake, and Rosaleen Norton.
Recently, Keely spent two winter months in the polar night of Svalbard as an artist in residence in the settlement of Longyearbyen.
She is currently open for commercial inquiries.
