The lyric league is a rap battle competition made up of 6 events that test an artists skill turning hip hop into a sport)
1st event tough skins: head to head battle
2nd event target practice: stay on topic
3rd event once upon a rhyme: tell or make up a story in rhyme form
4th event soul searching: freestyle slam poetry
5th event urban politics: each artist is given a side of an argument then debate in rhyme form
6th event crowd control: make up a song on the spot
