Happy New Year!First Friday at Vermillion Friday January 4, 2008 6-9pm, Wine & cheese. Music by Selector Angel Eyes
Now that the excitement of the holidays and art fairs has subsided, Vermillion welcomes you to our first get-together of 2008.
Since our current show runs through the end of January, we're inviting you to a mid-show event to give everyone the opportunity to meet the artists and tour the gallery. We're showing the group show entitled "Gathering" and will have refreshments and music by Selector Angel Eyes.
Also, keep your eyes peeled for an article in the Seattle PI by Regina Hackett which features Ryan Hobson, one of the many super talented artists we are showing this month. See below for list and links to all the other artists.
After you drop in to see us, we highly recommend you head on over to the McLeod Residence where they're having their One Year Anniversary Party, which hints at going late into the night. (They do indeed have a bar, afterall!)
On January 3rd (the day before our event), the year is already shaping up to be a promising one with three recommended openings in Pioneer Square for First Thursday: Ries Niemi's "My Cell Phone Tells Me To Do Bad Things" at Punch, "We 8 Ourselves" presented by Fire Retard Ants at Soil, and Jessica McCourt in the Tiger Cub Gallery at 619 Western.
Here's wishing you and yours a peaceful, happy new year and we look forward to seeing you! xo Vermillion.
