How often have you spoken your truth only to have the words dissipate in empty rooms or fall on uncompassionate ears?  “Listen” explores the human need to be heard and validated. Bring your emotions: anger, joy, grief , ennui, exuberance, and gratitude. We are creating space for the audience to bear witness.  

Opening Nov. 14th at Vermillion Art Gallery, newcomer Monica Tie invites established & emerging artists Natasha Marin, Yoona Lee, Rohena Alam Khan, and Carolyn Hitt to elaborate on stories unheard. This audio,  visual, and interactive experience challenges the need to respond when all that’s been asked is that you…Listen.

CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS: Contribute your own stories to “Listen” by submitting anonymous recordings or written excerpts to “Listen” at www.monicatie.com/listen until 11/13/19.  There will also be links for submissions for the duration of the exhibit.

“Listen” is a collaborative project curated by Monica Tie on behalf of Blue Cone Studios.
