Vermillion’s newest show asks the question: “Does the kinetic energy of a piece change when viewed with work derived from another artists?” This one-time experiment, a brainchild of artists Jacob Dixon, Specs Wizard andSir Froderick, will include work done as individuals as well as collaborative ventures stemming from the idea of outside forces initiating a change in direction of each individuals artistic styling. Also, the exciting comic book artwork of Thinktank will be on display.The show will run for the second half of May and beginning of June.
The second Thursday Art Walk Capitol Hill opening on 5/14 will also feature live beat-sets by Specs and Froderick as well as DJ Able on the wheels.
